Duty-Free

Porter Services (Red Caps)

At GAIA our airport porters are easily distinguished by their caps, which are red, and that is why we call them – that’s right – Red Caps. They stand ready to assist you in your arrivals and departures, ensuring that your luggage is ably conveyed.

Money Exchange/Cambios

There are cambios located in the departures lounge and arrivals terminal. The opening hours for those in the Departures  Lounge are 5:00 am – 9:00 pm daily, including bank holidays. Services offered include selling of travellers’ cheques and cash exchanges for both local and foreign currencies.

ATMs

Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) are located throughout the departures terminal in the public area and after the security checkpoint in the retail shopping mall. Only Barbados currency is dispensed. The ATMs take Mastercard, Visa, Discover and American Express.

Ambulance Centre

For our arriving or departing passengers and members of the public and airport staff,  there is an Ambulance Centre, which operates from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm daily, in the public area of the Departures Terminal. Contact your airline representative, or the GAIA Inc. Duty Manager at 1-246-420-2900 should the need arise. Please note that there may be a charge for the use of these services

Post Office

The post office is located in the public area of the departures terminal. Passengers and visitors to GAIA can mail letters and packages, as well as purchase stamps or packaging materials. The opening hours are Mondays 8:00 am – 3:00 pm, Tuesdays to Fridays 8:00 am – 3:15 pm.
